CAMS Scottish success story continues

Leading UK software company, Inisoft Ltd, has continued its expansion within the Scottish Further Education sector having announced the addition of New College Lanarkshire to its increasing client portfolio.

Inisoft Ltd, which is part of the Kura group, has been supplying student funding solutions and online applications for over 10 years to the Scottish Further Education sector through its market leading CAMS software, working closely with each college to improve their online application process.

Nine regional colleges in Scotland now benefit from the efficiency saving and operational benefits provided by CAMS, these include some of the largest colleges in the country such as; Edinburgh College, West College Scotland, and Dundee & Angus College.

New College Lanarkshire has campuses in Motherwell, Hamilton, Coatbridge, Kirkintilloch and Cumbernauld providing learning opportunities right across Lanarkshire and caters for the needs of over 25,000 students. It builds on the existing reputation for teaching of the highest quality, providing a boost to economic development throughout Lanarkshire and beyond. By providing the CAMS online application system to their students, the process to apply for Bursaries and childcare support will be simplified, faster to process and easier to track.

Janice McAulay, Assistant Principal Finance at New College Lanarkshire said: “We are very pleased to be joining the growing number of Scottish FE Colleges who have selected CAMS for their online student funding applications. The funding team are excited and look forward to using CAMS and experiencing the benefits seen at other colleges”.

John Goodram, Director of Technology at Inisoft Ltd said: “The Further Education college sector in Scotland has experienced major changes with regionalisation, mergers and reduced budgets impacting on the services they deliver. This has come at a time where the demand for college places have increased and every college is focused on enhancing the student experience as they engage with the college.

“Against that backdrop its fantastic to see NCL college and indeed the majority of all other Scottish colleges putting their faith in Inisoft and CAMS to deliver their course application management and student funding; benefitting from innovative technologies which not only provide an exceptional user experience for them, but also the thousands of students that they interact with.”

New College Lanarkshire will begin work on the implementation of CAMS in April ready for the start of next session.
