“This week we celebrated our fifth anniversary as Kura, and what a five-year rollercoaster it’s been!
The business has transformed over this time, we’re now more than double in size with sites in Glasgow, Forres, Liverpool, Sunderland and our first non-UK operation based in Durban, South Africa.
We have taken on various new clients and have invested more than £4m in the business. On top of this our software business Inisoft has developed a best-in-class omni-channel advisor desktop with Syntelate XA.
As a business we believe our people are our number one asset and over the years we’ve developed many new and unique people processes from our 2M’s (monthly 121 catch ups) to the Kura Fit hiring process to G2C (Getting to the Core) to 10X (learning program). We have seen our attrition numbers reduce by 50% over this time – so, we’re clearly on the right path. Building our culture is hugely important and making our staff feel part of it is the key.
We celebrated a little differently this year, our UK staff received a little appreciation gift to their homes and our Durban team (being back in the office) enjoyed an afternoon tea.
We have experienced and overcome many challenges, but I am proud of who we are today.
